A Soulful Approach to Reconnecting Families

Healing Family Conflicts
We provide family therapy for all ages (including younger children or adult children). Family therapy can also include conflicts with siblings or extended family members. We work with families who experience communication breakdowns, constant arguing, parenting differences, grief and loss, parents divorcing/separating, anger problems, behavioral issues, substance abuse, or trauma and mental health concerns. We help families improve their communication skills, resolve conflicts, set healthy boundaries, develop coping strategies to manage emotions, and learn how to validate each other’s feelings and experiences.

Blended Families
A blended family, which is a family formed by two people who have children from a previous relationship (also known as a “step family”), can have difficulties transitioning into their new family dynamics. We work with blended families to process the difficulties in adjusting to the new family unit, heal conflicts, navigate loyalty concerns, bridge differing parenting styles, build communication, and help facilitate the bonding amongst new family members to establish a more cohesive new family unit.
Become A Soulful Family Unit
We work with families to create soulful connections. The family unit is foundational to the wellbeing of each family member. We help families identify the core issues underlying their current struggles. Family conflicts are often manifestations of deeper-rooted issues that have not been resolved. We help families heal the underlying issues and regain harmony.
FEATURED SERVICE:
SOULFUL PARENTING ℠

About Soulful Parenting ℠
A core tenet of Soulful Psychology® is that children are born pure of soul. Children have innate characteristics that are expressions from their soul. However, societal influences such as media, overly critical teachers, peer bullying, aggressive or dismissive parenting, can cause the innate characteristics within a child’s soul to become repressed and unexpressed. As a result, a child might express their dismay through anger outbursts, misbehaviors at home or school, or depressive/detached or anxious moods. Our main purpose as parents/caregivers is to facilitate the emergence of our children’s soulful expressions through nurturing their innate characteristics.
Soulful Parenting ℠ Approach
Soulful Parenting℠ teaches parents/caregivers tools to foster children’s soulful development through:
- Recognizing, validating, and structuring a child’s innate soulful characteristics.
- Teaching parents/caregivers how to develop their own soulful connection within themselves, so they can recognize and become in control of their emotions instead of taking them out on their children.
- Educating parents/caregivers how to raise soulful children who can recognize and articulate their emotions rather than acting out on them.
- Learning how to foster their child’s soulful expressions, which enable children to have stronger connections with self and others.
